X by Trollbeads uses sterling silver in all our silver links.
"Sterling" is the name for silver that has 92.5% pure silver with 7.5% alternative material, mainly copper.
This is why our silver products are stamped with 925S LAA: "925" refers to the purity of the alloy.
Silver links will oxidize (begin to look black) after contact with oxygen and water, but you can simply polish them back to life with a soft cloth, but never use chemicals on your links!
